A Year Has Past!!!

Can you believe a year has gone by already. It seems like just yesterday I held her in my arms for the first time. I now know why everyone's advice was to cherish every moment. I have finally, finally found some time to get on here and update the blog. I know it has been almost three months since the last blog but a lot has happened. School is flying by for me and I am proud to say that I just completed Level One with a 98%..let's just hope I can keep that up for the next 7 levels to come :) Mike's work as always keeps the conversations extremely interesting. Like last night for instance.."Hi hunny just calling to say good night". "Oh ok, I am at the hospital with a guy right now who got hit by a car, shot, and left for dead in the ditch". "Nice...Love you". "Love you too". Need I say more. Makes for a great night sleep :) He loves it though..
Then there is Adrianna..who tears through our house like a bull in a china shop. There is nothing delicate about our daughter. She is into absolutely everything. Sometimes instead of getting upset you just have to laugh. She had a great personality. Is ALWAYS ALWAYS happy!!! Until she is hungry..some things just never change. Her vocabulary in the last week or so has tripled. She no longer calls Mike and I "mama" and "dada". We have been upgraded to mommy and daddy. She says what's that & this, Don't, Buh-Bye, Bobby, Please, TaTa "thank you", juice, trys to say milk, Kylie, sit, shoes, yes, no, ca-ca, and the list goes on. She truly is remarkable for only being 12 months. Adrianna's 1st Birthday was great. All of her toys she loves..especially the dancing bear toy that Dennis got her and her chair and desk toy. She dances constantly with the bear..and thinks it is the coolest thing to be sitting in a chair.
Last but not least...my Dad. The last couple months have been emotionally, physically, and mentally tough for our entire family. He is doing great..and his spirit remains positive. We spend as much time as possible with him. Some weeks are easier then others. He continues to surprise us with the things he is able to do and the things he remembers. It is going to be a long journey..but as I tell everyone else. I'd rather have a journey to travel then none at all.
Here is a little video I put together of Adrianna's first trip to Hunsader Farms, halloween, and her birthday. I am hoping to get some video footage on here of her eating her cake by the end of the week.
Hope all is well and everyone has a great Christmas!!!
