Trip to New York and New Jersey

Adrianna and I had a chance to visit our extended families up North. We had a blast. First was New Jersey. We stayed with my Aunt Lynn which worked out so well. She has a crib, toys, and a highchair...all of which we did not have to bring..thank god! There she met all of her Aunt's, Uncle's and cousins on my Dad's side. Then it was off to New York where she met her Aunt, Uncle and cousins on Mike's side. We spent the day with Aunt Tina, Uncle Robby, Bobby and Tatiana. GG Joan and GPa Tom were there!! Adrianna went swimming in the pool with Tatiana and loved it. Then it was off to the wedding where she met the rest of her Aunt's, Uncle's and cousin's on my mom's side. I am so glad she was able to meet everyone. It was a lot for her but I think she enjoyed it. Especially the time she spent playing with her cousin's.

Off to New Jersey & New York

Adrianna and I are off to NY & NJ. It will be Adrianna's first flight. I can't wait. I am just hoping for the sake of the other passengers that she is a sweet angel!!! I am so excited for her to meet all of her Aunts, Uncles & Cousins. While packing today the only way I could keep her content was to put her inside of the luggage. It was very cute and it kept her occupied so I could get things done. Packing for an infant is ridiculous!!!! The bibs, blankets, food, formula, bowls, spoons, bottles, diapers, clothes, burp cloths...god I could go on forever!!! A 6 month old should not have her own suitcase :) Well we can't wait to see everyone!!!!

The Funny Things...

So I figured that I would share with all of you the funny things that Adrianna has done in the last couple of days. I was having Adrianna's first play date with her best friend Olivia. The girls are only five days apart and could not be more opposite from each other. While I was feeding Olivia I put Adrianna in the walker so she could occupy herself. The next thing I knew she was chasing the laundry basket down the hallway. It was the funniest thing. She wasn't able to catch the basket until it was caught between her and the end of the hallway. She had a look on her face like she just one the Gold medal...absolutely adorable. Then the other day while I was doing laundry Mike had just come home from work. We were in our room talking about our days and had set Adrianna in the middle of our bed with all of the folded laundry. Next thing you know Mike looks down at her and she has his whitey tighties in her mouth..hahaha I have never laughed so hard in my life. These are the little things that make the worst of your days seem like nothing. Enjoy!!!

Update on Adrianna

Adrianna is now 6 months old. I can hardly believe it. The time goes by way to fast. She is sitting up on her own. Has two bottom teeth. The top ones are slowly coming in. Says DaDa all day long. Her eyes light up when her Daddy walks in..Go figure she could care less about the person who takes care of her all day long :) But I love it!!!! She is a Daddy's Girl..and he won't admit it but she has him wrapped around her finger already!! She rolls all over the place. Eats solids..and trust me she never misses a beat with her food. Starting to drink out of a sippy cup, which she loves to do...little miss independent. We just got her ears pierced. Finally convinced Mike to let me do it. She looks so cute. Adrianna is a water baby. She loves to take a bath and go in the pool. At six months she already has a personality of her own and a little attittude..wonder where she gets that from??? Adrianna has a laugh that is contagious. You can't help but to laugh with her. She is such a happy baby. We really are so blessed. To those of you in New Jersey and New York...we will see you soon!!!

Entering the Blogging World

So I was convinced by Mike that we needed to start a blog page so that it was easier for our families to see what was going on with our lives. I will have to agree with him due to the fact that between both of our families we have 18 sets of Aunts and Unlces. So here I am it's midnight and I am in bed trying to figure out how all of this works. Chris I think I will need to take some lessons from you. You seem to know all of the ins and outs. Well everyone have a great night and I hope to get some pictures up of the baby!!!! Talk to you all soon :)
